Why Enjoy Discount Golf Clubs Mizuno JPX-800 irons

Golf International had already enjoyed a pre-Munich peek at Mizuno’s new range, in particular the previously Japan-only JPX- 800 boasting top-of-the range game improvement features but without the often bulky aesthetics of the MX range which it now replaces globally.

JPX will face stiff competition in this sector from Callaway, though their longstanding X-series of irons has now been replaced by a completely new design under the RAZR X umbrella. These Roger Cleveland-designed forgings shift the centre of gravity lower and deeper in the face (reflecting where many amateurs strike the ball) while also introducing a new sole concept that we will dissect in a later issue.

Discount Golf Clubs JPX- 800 Irons Features:

A serious looking iron designed to be amazingly forgiving and explosively long, the JPX-800™ is the first model to bring Mizuno’s Global JPX technology platform to the United States. The unbelievable distance of the JPX-800 irons is achieved by combining MAX COR Technology, Hot Metal™ Face construction, and an exotic pocket cavity to hit the maximum allowable limits for energy transfer.

Hot Metal construction utilizes a new manufacturing process that increases the material’s natural strength to create and ultra-thin and multi-thickness face for maximum, consistent ball speed, while the innovative pocket cavity with external power bar design expands and extends the sweet area and lowers the center of gravity for unsurpassed forgiveness.

An aggressive triple cut sole ensures solid ball striking from all types of lies, and a multi-material cavity badge provides tuned impact sound with enhanced feel and sharp looks. Simply put, the JPX-800 irons utilize the world’s most advanced Game Improvement technologies to help the serious mid to high-handicap player score like never before!

The incredulous look on Ryder Cup star Luke Donald’s face when he first hit the latest Mizuno JPX-800 irons spoke volumes for its impact on the World’s No.8 golfer.

As Mizuno’s leading-ranked staff player, he had been lined up to give his endorsement to the MP-63 irons he plans to play on Tour later in the year but during a break in filming a test session, Donald also grabbed hold of a 6-iron from a set of JPX-800s, the clubs aimed at the improving club golfer.
